St. Joseph's College, Robinson Road, the Mid-Levels
St. Joseph's College was started in 1876 in Caine Road, moved to Glenealy (Robinson Road) in 1881 and to its present site in Kennedy Road in 1918. Since 1917 it has opened a branch school in Kowloon, Chatham Road, which later in 1931 moved to La Salle Road. Its site in Glenealy was later taken over by the Wah Yan College and is now where the present Caritas Valtorta House stands. The building had originally two floors, but because of the need for further expansion a third floor was added in 1898 and, later in 1902, two wings were further built; a last addition for higher classes was made in 1915. The present St. Joseph's College was built in 1963.
