Publicity of Selected works of contemporary Yixing potters

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, the exhibition of recent works by distinguished Yixing potters was held in 1994. For this occasion, K.S. Lo had commissioned over 30 prominent Yixing potters to make tea wares. K.S. Lo attempted to revive the practice of collaboration between the scholar-connoisseur, potter, inscriber and painter-calligrapher in making a Yixing teapot as stared by Chen Hongshou (alias Mansheng, 1768-1822) in the early 19th century. Among those exhibits, six tea wares achieve this old tradition.
