The Hong Kong Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Caine Road, the Mid-Levels

Constructed during 1883-1888, the Catholic Cathedral of Immaculate Conception is an imposing building in cruciform shape with a tower at the intersection. It is a fine example of Gothic architecture in the territory. The Cathedral underwent renovation in 2002, and the renovation project was awards with an Honorable Mention of the 2003 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation.
