Wong Tai Sin Temple as a private venue for Taoists to practise their religion in the early days of founding

In the early days of the founding of the Wong Tai Sin Temple, it was a private venue for Taoists to practise their religion. It was not until 1956 that it was officially opened to the public for worship. Since then, the number of worshippers has steadily increased. (Photo in 1955)
