Wanchai Post Office

Wanchai Post Office, the oldest surviving post office in Hong Kong, was built in 1915. It was a police station before. The roof top has horizontal beams and tiles. The building was gazetted as a historical monument. Before stamps were available, those who wished to mail letters had to personally visit the post office, pay the fee and witness the actual stamping.
