Industry Survey Report : The Textile Industry Section 1 - Introduction

The survey was organized by the Industrial Development Branch and the field work was carried out by officers of the Department's Trade Investigation Branch. The survey covered cotton spinning, cotton weaving, texturizing, woollen spinning, silk weaving and finishing sectors, the survey covered all companies recorded by the Census and Statistics Department for production statistics purposes.
