Regulations for the Government of the Gaol at Hong Kong on Allowance of Food for Prisoners

The allowance of food for the prisoners was regulated by the Legislative Council of Hong Kong following the Colonial Surgeon’s advice. All diets were measured and weighed before they were issued to prisoners to ensure uniformity with correctness.
