Before Chinese Manufacturers’ Union (the older name of CMA) organized the first industrial products exhibition, Sincere Co., Ltd. had organized an exhibition during 6-21 April 1933 on the rooftop of the department store. Exhibitors included 23 Shanghai manufacturers and 40 Hong Kong and Guangdong manufacturers. The exhibition was divided into two phases with the first few days featuring products of Shanghai manufacturers and later, products of Hong Kong manufacturers. The opening ceremony was officiated by Mayor of Guangdong. The products exhibited included silks, plastics, socks, cosmetics and perfumery, textiles and toiletries.
