Hong Kong Film Archive presented an exhibition named Transcending Space and Time - Early Cinematic Experience of Hong Kong, from 21 March to 22 June 2014. With detailed illustration, the exhibition aims to present Hong Kong's early cinema through showcasing documentaries as early as in the late 19th Century, short films and drama features produced in the 1920s to 1940s; antique photos and historical relics owned by film pioneers.

This Collection serves as a digital repository for the exhibition, in preservation of early motion pictures of Hong Kong.
