Chung Wah Middle School was founded by Wong Lan Kwun in 1926 on Caine Road. The journal reports the numbers of students in the primary and secondary sections. It also briefly introduced students’ life, including the boarders, self-governing student bodies and activities such as raising fund for war relief.

Ling Ying College was founded by Hung Ko Wong the former principal of Pui Ying Secondary School. The school officially opened on 5th September 1938 at Lee Garden in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. Its aim was to provide national education and religious education in wartime. It was a private middle school serving as an overseas Chinese school with a Christian mission. The bulletin introduced the objectives of the school and gave an overview of all grades in the primary and secondary sections.

Mui Fong Secondary School was founded by Ms. Ng Mun Chee in 1918 with the objective to save China through education. The journal included an article by Law Chung Tong, the Inspector of Chinese Schools, on wartime education, grand opening of the school year, school news and school report. Student activities were also reported in details, including boy scouts and girl guides, training of youth groups, territory-wide Children’s Day celebration, debate, cooking contest and latest news of alumni.

The organising committee for celebration of Children's Day under the Hong Kong Overseas Chinese Education Association was actively planning the activities. The committee was divided into 4 districts, namely Central and Western District, Shau Kei Wan and Wan Chai District, Kowloon City and Sham Shui Po District, and Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok District. The report briefly introduced the sub-committees of each district.
