The first annual prize-giving ceremony of the Kowloon Junior School was held on 20 December 1922. Miss Skinner, the headmistress presented her report with specific reference to the importance of kindergarten education.
- Laying the Foundation Stone of Victoria College
The foundation stone of Victoria College was laid by Governor Bowen on 26 April 1884. Detailed description of the architecture of the building and the Governor's speech were reported.
- Oxford Local Examination
It was reported that the results of the Oxford Local Examination held in July 1912 in connection with the following schools had been received by telegram: St. Stephens' College, St. Stephen's Girls School and C.M.S. Girls' High School.

The annual speech day of the Government Vernacular Middle School was held on 21 January 1938.The headmaster, Mr. Li King-hong presented the annual report when he particularly mentioned the school's successes in physical education and examinations.

The Government had decided to close the Victoria British School in Causeway Bay by the end of 1931. About 50 children would be affected.
- St. Paul's Volley Ball Team won the match in the absence of Pui Ying Team
Students of Pui Ying Secondary School and St. Paul’s College had a fund-raising volleyball match. The obligation of defending the nation was given equal attention in the sports event, which was preluded by the song March of the Volunteers followed by 3-minute silence observed in memory of the Manchurian Incident. The St. Paul’s team beat the Pui Ying team 3-1 on aggregate.

Hong Kong Students Joint Relief Union held a gathering at Kong Kiu Secondary School on 10th October 1938 to celebrate the National Day and the first anniversary of the Union. At the gathering, the financial report was presented, followed by entertainment.
- Inter-school Basketball Senior Grade Competition; King’s beat Pui Ying
Inter-school Basketball Matches (junior and senior grade) were held on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon on 18 and 19 October 1938.
- Pui Ying beat Queen's in Inter-school Basketball Competition
In the Inter-school Basketball Competition held on 15 November 1938, Pui Ying College beat Queen’s College 69-17 on aggregate. The report included other matches of the day.
- Pooi To will play against Sai Nam in tonight's women's basketball games
It was reported that three games in the General Women's Basketball Competition would be held on 11 January 1939: 1st game: Sai Nam versus Pooi To; 2nd game: Wah Kiu versus HKU; last game: Nam Wah versus St. Paul’s.
