  • Laying the Foundation Stone of Victoria College
     The foundation stone of Victoria College was laid by Governor Bowen on 26 April 1884. Detailed description of the architecture of the building and the Governor's speech were reported.
  • Oxford Local Examination
    It was reported that the results of the Oxford Local Examination held in July 1912 in connection with the following schools had been received by telegram: St. Stephens' College, St. Stephen's Girls School and C.M.S. Girls' High School.
  • Victoria British School
    The Government had decided to close the Victoria British School in Causeway Bay by the end of 1931. About 50 children would be affected.
  • St. Paul's Volley Ball Team won the match in the absence of Pui Ying Team
    Students of Pui Ying Secondary School and St. Paul’s College had a fund-raising volleyball match. The obligation of defending the nation was given equal attention in the sports event, which was preluded by the song March of the Volunteers followed by 3-minute silence observed in memory of the Manchurian Incident. The St. Paul’s team beat the Pui Ying team 3-1 on aggregate.
