The Club commenced to build a new building in June 1977 for the Computerised Telebet Centre and staff canteen. The top floor of the Operations Building was connected to the ninth floor of the adjacent Administration Building via a walkway. With the relocation of Telebet services to the Sha Tin Racecourse, the Operations Building was converted into the Happy Valley Stand in 1995.
