The Police Quarters on Caine Road were built as residences for senior officers, and date from around 1920. For a few years prior to their demolition they were used by the University of Hong Kong for its newly established Department of Law and for other purposes. The site is now an open space and popular children's playground. Note Hop Yat Church at the end.
