In view of the reliance on deception when doing business, and the greater emphasis on integrity in industries, KP Tin switched to industrial activities. He established Tjhauw Loen Rubber Factory in Indonesia in 1945.

Tin Ka Ping
In 1958 KP Tin was determined to move to Hong Kong with his familiy. He handed over his business in Indonesia to his nephew and left himself no return, forcing himself to migrate to Hong Kong with a fighting spirit.

Tin Ka Ping
In 1962, Tins' Chemical Industrial Co Ltd (Tins’ Chemical) erected an industrial building at Lai Chi Kok Road, Cheung Sha Wan and rented it to the processing factories that purchased Tins’ films. Warehouses for plastics were on the lower floors while workshops for material preparation and silk printing were on the upper floors. With all the supporting facilities combined transport and storage costs for low-end manufacturers were reduced, and thus facilitating the development of low-end industries.
