Company Introduction

Company Name: Dailywin Watct Products Mfg. Ltd

Year of Founding: 1978

Mainstream Products: watchcase and watch

Brief History:

Dailywin Watct Products Mfg. Ltd (“Dailywin”) was established in 1978. The founder, Leung Wai Ho, was previously a manager at a watch case factory known as Leung Lung Kee. Dailywin had a 5000-square-foot factory in Kwai Chung, and had 20 workers when it first opened. In the early years, Dailywin received orders from foreign watch makers such as Timex and Casio, and made electronic as well as quartz watch cases on an OEM basis. From 1983, the company began assembling watches and bought the Saga brand name. From 1986, they began to promote their products in North America. In 1988, the company bought land in Dongguan and constructed a 18,000-square-foot factory site. The company subsequently moved its production line to Dongguan and operated as a processing firm. In 1992, the Dongguan factory was registered as foreign-invested operations with the keen purpose to encourage sales in the Mainland. The company first consigned their products for selling in shopping malls; later they opened their own flagship store in Guangzhou. Then in 1997, the company began direct retailing of famous foreign branded watches. It rented space at large shopping malls and set up their own sale zone called the “Time Zones”. In 2003, the company sold off their retailing business and once again focused on OEM.
