Li Fei-lung, head of an escort service at Nan Chang, is to deliver a precious jade to Lo Yang. Before setting off he asks his business rival Wang Tien-piao to look after his family. Wang harbors Li a grudge and seizes the opportunity to rape Li’s wife and slay his servants during his absence. Wang also has Li’s caravan ambushed. Li’s daughter Yen-niang rushes to the scene to find the guards killed, the jade stolen and no sign of her father.The wounded Li escapes to the home of fellow knight Chao Chien-hsiung and asks Chao’s son Ying-chieh to rescue Yen-niang with the “sun” blade. Yen-niang owns the “moon” blade, its counterpart.Yen-niang meanwhile is overtaken by Wang on her mission to save her father. At the eleventh hour, Ying-chieh appears and routs the foe. The twin blades wielded by these two create havoc, until Yen-niang loses her weapon to Wang’s villainous cohorts.Ying-chieh and Yen-niang return to fetch Li and Chao and they return to Nan Chang for a showdown with the enemy.
