Two Champions Of Shaolin
During the Ching Dynasty, two renowned martial arts clans, Shaolin and Wutang, clashed in China. Shaolin, being anti-Ching, was in constant conflict with the hostile Wutang clan which supported the Ching government.Tung Chien-chin (Lo Meng), a Manchu youth, is sent to Guangzhou to contact fellow Shaolin warrior, Wu Hui-kan (Chiang Sheng), to work on a secret mission to bring down the Ching empire. Upon arrival, he is confronted by Wutang warrior Li De-chung (Yu Tai-ping), and in the ensuing fight, is badly wounded by Li’s flying daggers but escapes with his life.Tung recovers from his injuries under the care of Chin Pi-erh (Yang Tsing-tsing) and her brother Chin Tai-lai (Sun Chien) and learns a defense technique against Li’s knives. Tung and Wu finally meet when they accidentally run into one another, but are soon spotted by Li De-chung, whom they defeat and kill. They are challenged by his brother Li Pa-shan (Wang Li) and his men, but after a fierce fight, the two champions of Shaolin defeat them.Tung marries Chin Pi-erh, and Li Pa-shan’s men disguise themselves as wedding guests. They kill the bride and her brother, and kidnap Tung. Wu escapes danger because he is drunk elsewhere and is unaware what has happened to his friends. Wutang’s Wei Hsing-hung, who secretly sympathizes with Shaolin, sets Tung free.An expert Wutang martial artist, Kao Chin-chung (Lu Feng), plots to establish a close friendship with Tung and Wu and infiltrate the Shaolin in order to kill the two warriors.
