Star Industrial Co., Ltd.

The industrial products exhibition witnesses the development of Star Industrial Co., Ltd. Star Industrial was founded in 1949 and soon participated in the 7th Exhibition of Chinese Products the same year. The Company was named Star Brush Factory, and its booth mainly displayed brush products including toothbrushes, hair combs and coat brushes.

Later, Star Brush Factory was renamed Star Industrial Co., Ltd. and joined the 17th Exhibition of Hong Kong Products. The Company set up an exhibition booth to display and sell its plastic products. For many years, Star Industrial adopted its “Red A” brand as a signifying feature in its booth design and built a giant and spectacular “Red A” tower on the exhibition ground. In the 1960s and 1970s, Star Industrial won several awards in the 25th (1967-1968) and 27th (1969-1970) exhibitions. Its unique booth design has attracted the Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Murray MacLehose, and Miss Hong Kong Festival of 1971 to visit the booth.
