Prince Kang of the Sung Dynasty is captured and held hostage by Chin troops invading his territory, and guarded by Wan Tien-kuei – a rugged and notorious fighter. Wan Tien-kuei thinks that Yen Lu-jen, a fighter and acrobat may join forces with Pao Ting-tien (a Sung knight) in a bid to rescue Prince Kang, so he plans, through Lei Huo (a friend of Yen) to buy Yen Lu-jen’s services first. Meanwhile Pao Tieng-tien is planning to rescue the captured prince and goes to find Yen Lu-jen only to discover he is already in the pay of Lei Huo.Yen Lu-jen and Lei Huo plan to take the Prince, and make their bid the following day. Pao Ting-tien and patriot, Pien Fu join forces to kill Yen and Lei, but are overwhelmed by Wan Tien-kuei. They make new plans with a stolen identification disc as their pass into the enemy camp. But the Chin’s Prince is not completely convinced and suspects them. They are taken before Wan Tien-kuei. Pien Fu breaks from his guard – frees Pao Ting-tien, and takes the Chin’s Prince as a hostage. Pao rescues Prince Kang, and they make their escape leaving Pien Fu with the Chin Prince, to draw the pursuers away.
