Description | An old lady taking care of her grandson. With the elderly taking care of the grandchildren, both parents could go to work. The picture used a vertical line as a focus which met the foot of the wall and the ground so that the line wouldn't cut the picture into two halves; the curves presented by the old lady’s swing introduced harmony to the intersecting lines. |

Title | Keeping thick winter clothes dry and clean |
Description | Residents laying out clothes in the sun in the open space. Tradition has it that the winter clothing should be hung in the sun before stowing them away after dragonboat festival, to prevent them from molding in the closet. During the 3rd and 4th months of the lunar calendar Ho Sau often saw residents laying out clothes in the nearby playground. The irregular shapes were photographed from a top-down angle. |

But the walls were uneven and the new paint showed cloud-like patterns with the lamp shades appearing like the full moon.
