Ng Kin Sun

Biography

Ng Kin Sun, Teacher Ng, male, born in Hong Kong in 1948. In 1956, Teacher Ng moved with his parents from the Central District to the new home on the ground floor of No. 48 Lee Tat Street (the site where Prosperous Garden now stands). When he was a secondary student, the family moved to the 4th floor of No. 13 Temple Street. After he got married in 1976, he lived with his wife in Tak Kay Building on Kansu Street (diagonally opposite the jade market). In 1992, he purchased a flat in the Prosperous Garden where he lives until now. Ng Kin Sun said he was a street child. In the period between 1992 and 2000 he was a District Councilor, so he is familiar with the landscape and changes in Yau Ma Tei.
