Wong Wing Man

Biography

Wong Wing Man was born in Xiamen, Fujian Province in 1934 and completed his primary education in Gulangyu. In 1948 or 1949, he moved to Hong Kong and began a more than half a century-long career with Amoy. Over the course of his Amoy career, Wong Wing Man was promoted several times and witnessed several ownership changes and plant relocations. He began his career at Amoy as a handyman in the building department before being posted to the engineering department on a permanent basis. He was then promoted to engineer in-charge before retiring in 2000.
