Kwan Shan (1933-) was already a famous Hong Kong actor in the 1950s. He joined Shaw’s as contract actor in 1961. He co-starred with Linda Lin Dai in Love without End (1961). The movie itself was a box office hit at the time and its theme song remained a hit even today. Kwan Shan could play a wide variety of roles, and was proficient in both comedy and wenyi (drama) films. The famous films he starred in included The Blue and the Black, Part One(1966) & Part Two (1966), both of which had Linda Lin Dai as the lead actress.
