Report of the Committee on Education
This report gave a full review of the existing education system in the colony and made suggestions for measures needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the schools under government inspection. Specific attention was given to the use of English as medium of instruction for Chinese children and the teaching of English and Chinese language on more practical terms.
