Eng Aun Tong was founded by Aw Chu Kin Rangoon of Myanmar as a Chinese medicine shop. Later, his son, Aw Boon Haw, launched the widely known Tiger Balm. In 1962, Eng Aun Tong joined the 20th Exhibition of Hong Kong Products and built a tiger tower at the exhibition venue. This unique booth design became a memorable landmark at the exhibition.
