Tung Chun Soy Sauce & Canned Food Company Limited was founded by the father of Mr. Wong Chung Ming, who came to Hong Kong from Dongguan. In its early years, the Company set up a family-run workshop at Nga Tsin Wai Road in Kowloon City which mainly produced soy sauce. Tung Chun Soy Sauce & Canned Food Company joined the 14th Exhibition of Hong Kong Products (1956-1957) under the name of “Tung Chun Sauces”. Later, they set up exhibition booths in 1960 and 1970 at the exhibitions to show and sell the seasoning sauces it produced.
