Lee Kung Man Knitting

Lee Kung Man Shirt and Socks Knitting Factory (the present-day Lee Kung Man Knitting Factory Limited) was founded in 1923. Its founder, Mr. Fung Chou-yu, established a factory at Nam Cheong Street of Shum Shui Po in Kowloon, specialized in manufacturing knitted undergarments and socks. Lee Kung Man has set up a booth in as early as the 4th Exhibition of Chinese Products (1940-1941). Since exhibition was resumed after the war, Lee Kung Man was a regular participant at the exhibitions. Its sign board was visible at almost every exhibition, featuring the famous “Golden Dear knitted shirt” trademark.
