Yueh Hua

Yueh Hua (1942-) was admitted to the “Southern Acting Training Class” in 1963, and was a graduate of the 4th intake. He then signed an actor’s contract with Shaw’s. He, together with Cheng pei-pei and Chan Hung-lit, gained popularity with Come Drink with Me (1966). Yueh Hua was versatile in acting, and besides appearing in martial arts films, he also starred in the period film Intimate Confessions of a Chinese Courtesan (1972), the Cantonese film, Those 72 Tenants (1963), etc. Being an all-round actor, he was one of Shaw’s most prolific actors.
