Jenny Hu

Jenny Woo (1945-) is of mixed Chinese-German heritage. She joined Shaw’s in 1965. With her fresh and refined look, she was offered the opportunity to act in many wenyi (drama) films, and achieved instant popularity with Till the End of Time (1966). She married actor Kang Wai in 1969. After the marriage, she continued to carry out her contract with Shaw’s. She starred in the youth thriller, Guess who Killed my Twelve Lovers (1970) and in the re-make of Love without End (1970) which was a classic by Linda Lin Dai and Kwan Shan. She was much sought-after as lead actress of the new generation drama movies in modern settings.
