Protest against US recognition of Japanese sovereignty over the Diaoyutai Islands

In May 1972, some 2,000 protestors marched in two groups from Queen’s Pier and Victoria Park to the consulates of the United States and Japan to express their opposition to US recognition of Japanese sovereignty over the Diaoyutai Islands.
