Anita Mui sequinned top with peacock feather decoration, black gold gauze skirt (1)

Anita wore this costume in her concert in 1990. Eddie Lau used large quantities of peacock feathers for this outfit to give Anita a resplendent look, like a peacock spreading its tail. Numerous pearls and gems were set on the top to make her shimmer on stage. For the skirt, black gold was preferred to a brighter, more gaudy gold to ensure that it would not go out of style, while the light gauze material allowed it to sway with the strong beats of Anita's dance moves.
