Pak Suet Sin black cheongsam adorned with chains

The University of Hong Kong conferred a Doctor of Letters, honoris causa degree on Pak Suet Sin on 18 March 2004. Eddie Lau designed a black silk cheongsam with a fuchsia lining for her for the award ceremony, where the fuchsia hue came through subtly under the flashlights. The decorative chains were specially made in Thailand for the outfit. Set off by bright pink stockings and black high heels, and with Pak coiling her hair high, the look radiated grace and modernity.
