'EDDIE LAU – Black & Silver' collection (2)

At Hong Kong Ready-to-Wear Festival 1977, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, programme director Julius Schofield invited Eddie Lau to present his designs as the grand finale. The 'Black & Silver' collection showcased for the first time under 'EDDIE LAU', won unanimous acclaim. Featuring designs in black chiffon accentuated with silver trim that were simple but elegant, the series demonstrated a versatility that highlighted in full the aesthetics of the feminine silhouette. For the exhibition '他 FASHION 傳奇 EDDIE LAU 她 IMAGE 百變 劉培基', Eddie has specially remade two items of the 'Black and Silver' collection with the same fabric to bring these classic designs back to life.
