'KAI' collection 1998 (1)

This is the 'KAI' collection that Eddie Lau created in 1998 for Chinese Arts & Crafts (H.K.) Ltd. and that was presented at the grand finale of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Fashion Week. These evening gowns in Chinese silk that blended the design elements and tailoring features of the original 'EDDIE LAU' series, accessorised with tassells at the waist, put a Chinese soul at the heart of a Western outfit. In this black sleeveless long dress with set-in shoulders, the crossed straps at the back add a chic simplicity and a sensually provocative charm, while the long round skirt provides an elegant finish.
