In view of the increased demand of medical services after the post-war period, the Club made donations towards the building of clinics throughout the territory. North Lamma Clinic was one of the earliest clinics supported by the Club in the 1950s. Located at Yung Shue Wan (榕樹灣), the North Lamma Clinic was opened in May of 1957 as the only medical and maternity services centre for about 1,600 islanders in the region in the time. The bungalow occupied a space of 7,000 square feet.
