Jockey Club Headquarters under construction, 1994

To have a safe track and widen bends, the Club widened the whole track by disposing of the sand track. At the northern end of the course, the Administration Building which housed the Happy Valley Clubhouse and Club's office were demolished and replaced by a new headquarters.
