Queen's Road West, Sai Ying Pun

Queen's Road West, showing the Government Civil Hospital up on the hill and Eastern Street immediately west of the Hospital. In the early days, there were many three-storey buildings with shops on the ground level along Queen's Road Central and West, with balconies sheltering pedestrians from rain and sunlight, which were the typical features of the architecture of that period.
