Shopping crowds at Wellington Street, Central District

This end of Wellington Street, west of Pottinger Street, was clustered with traditional Chinese shops on both sides of the street, e.g. tea shop, rice retail shop, etc. On the contrary, at the other end of Wellington Street near the corner of Wyndham Street, most business activities were confined to retail of foreign commodities.
