Lei Cheng Uk Swimming Pool, Sham Shui Po

The Lei Cheng Uk Swimming Pool was opened to the public on October 1 1971. Situated in Kwong Lee Road, the pool is the fifth of its kind built for public use in various densely populated areas of Hong Kong. The other four are in Victoria Park, Kowloon Tsai Park, Morse Park and Kwun Tong. The swimming pool had been built at a cost of more than $5.8 million donated by the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club.
