The Pagoda of the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, Sha Tin
The Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery is located on the mountain behind Sha Tin Pai Tau Village. It was founded from 1949 by the Reverend Yuet Kai and completed in 1957. Inside the 9-storey pagoda there is a circular stone staircase leading to the top. There are buddhas images with different gestures in each storey. Some are clasping the hands, some are the hands place on the thigh.
