Bun Festival, Cheung Chau
The Bun Festival is held usually in late March/early April of the Lunar Calendar, to appease the gods that guard the island. This annual festival features hills of buns on bamboo scaffoldings of up to 20 metres in height and parades of children dressed as legendary characters riding on floats.
