Lan Kwai Fong, Central (1957)

In, 1950s, Lan Kwai Fong, an alley which resembles a carpenter's square, was no more than 100 metres long. It used to appear like a village, with stone gatehouses at the two ends of the alley. It had many monuments, for example, the Earth God Temple and the Che Kung Temple. But all these have completely disappeared because of a fire that broke out some time in the 1960s.
