Wan Chai Road (1991)

The painting on the left was a market in Wan Chai Road where goods were displayed on the street. Now, all hawkers have been moved into a permanent market complex so as to give the street a better look and make the place more hygienic. At the back of the market is the 66-storey Hopewell Centre on Queen's Road East, built by Hopewell Company Limited in 1980. This modern building gives a great contrast to the view in the forefront.
