The photo shows the factory of Hongkong Paint Products Limited which was founded in 1953. The more than 20000-sq-ft factory was situated on Castle Peak Road and manufactured ship paint, automobile spray paint, brushing paint, ready-mixed paint, building paint and synthetic enamel which were marketed under the brands of Deer, Painter and Two Parrots. Hongkong Paint Products Limited exported most of its products to Thailand, Myanmar, Africa, the Middle East, Okinawa and Southeast Asia.
