Castle Peak Estate (later San Fat Estate) shortly before completion

The Castle Peak Estate was the first public housing estate constructed in Tuen Mun. It was renamed San Fat Estate in 1974 to commemorate Chan Yat-san and Lau Wong-fat, who were chairman and vice-chairman of Tuen Mun Rural Committee at that time. The estate was demolished in 2002.
