This is the interior of a Mark I block in Shek Kip Mei Resettlement Estate which is partitioned into 2 parts. As all the spaces within these rooms had to be occupied, sometimes tenants had to accept other tenant(s) into the flat. This practice had brought early resettlement policy into serious dispute.
