Interior of a Mark I block in Chai Wan Resettlement Estate

Inside the Mark I block in Chai Wan Resettlement Estate, the honey-comb grilles on the partition wall were originally designed for ventilation purpose. However, noise and smell transmission through these grilles had led to many of the tenants blocking them up.
