Cottage Areas near King’s Park

In the 1950s, a number of villages including cottage areas and ‘approved resettlements’ were built in the area between King’s Park and Ho Man Tin, including Chi Man Eastern, Central and Western Villages, Hill Village, Garmat Village, Man Wa Village, Po Man Village, Po Man North Village, Ho Man Tin New Village and Faith Hope Village. All the villages were demolished by the end of the 1960s. The present Ho Man Tin Estate, Oi Man Estate and Chun Man Court were built on the site of these settlements.
