Seal characters: I have long regretted that this body does not belong to me.
Side inscriptions: Carved in the style of Weishu (i.e. Zhao Zhiqian). At the behest of Shaoqiang my junior. To be used by and for the comments of Zuyou my senior. On the seventh day of the seventh month in the year of the 78th jichou (1949). Xiaokuan.
