Story of the Sword and the Sabre (Part One), released in Hong Kong on 15 May 1963, was directed by Cheung Ying and Choi Cheong and produced by Hoover Film Co. The film was spilt into two parts and was adapted from the novel The Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre by Jin Yong. The picture shows Pak Yin (as Yan So So at the centre) with the Dragon Slaying Sabre at hand and Sek Kin (as Tse Shun, the King of Gold Lion on front row, first right) holding a mace.
